PK Headshot - New Leader in Banking

Thomaston, CT – Thomaston Savings Bank employee Patryk Krakowski, VP, Regional Manager, was named one of the New Leaders in Banking by the Connecticut Bankers Association (CBA). He was recognized during a special reception at BankWorld 2024, held at Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino on January 11th.

Bankers throughout the state nominate individuals they believe to be an outstanding employee, manager or business leader who is making a notable impact within their bank and community. The CBA receives numerous nominations that are vetted by an independent panel of judges, none of whom are active bankers. After review, the panel selected fourteen individuals as this year’s “New Leaders in Banking.”

“Patryk is a wonderful asset to our team, extremely deserving of this nomination. He is a widely respected leader, overseeing our network of branch locations and ensuring daily operations are in order. Well done!”- Todd Burton SVP, Chief Consumer Banking Officer, Thomaston Savings Bank

Patryk joined the Bank in 2012 serving as an Assistant Branch Manager in the Waterbury and Main Office locations. He then transitioned into the Branch Manager role where he familiarized himself with additional office locations including Terryville, Watertown, and Highland Ave. Patryk was then promoted to Regional Manager in 2020.

“I feel honored to represent Thomaston Savings Bank and the Retail Banking Department in receiving this award. I view this as a personal achievement but also a collective one, reflective of our bank’s overall success.” – Patryk Krakowski, VP, Regional Manager, Thomaston Savings Bank

Patryk is dedicated to increasing accessibility to financial education and wellness in the community and has conducted numerous financial literacy seminars in the area. These include educational sessions for students, fraud and elder abuse presentations for seniors, and healthy banking workshops for those reintegrating into society after incarceration. Collaborating with organizations like the Connecticut Association for Human Services, Winning Ways, and the United Way of Greater Waterbury, Patryk exemplifies his commitment to financial success for all.

Patryk resides in Beacon Falls with his wife Jasmin and two children, Jakub and Isla.
