Thomaston Savings Bank Funds New Life Saving Devices for East Farmington Volunteer Fire Department

Thomaston Savings Bank recently donated a grant to the East Farmington Volunteer Fire Department (EFVFD) to fund the purchase of two automated external defibrillators (AED). These devices are utilized to help when someone is experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.

The EFVFD was founded in 1944 to prevent fires and protect life and property from loss and damage by fire and other emergencies within the Town of Farmington. The department also participates in the Hartford County Mutual Aid Plan.
